Guzelcamli

Guzelcamli translated means beautiful pine tree, a meaning fitting to describe an area of Turkey that is as verdant as it is beautiful.
Situated on the Aegean coast Guzelcamli has miles of unspoilt beaches surrounded by the Dilek peninsular national park protected by the government to ensure it's continuing exquisiteness. The Greek island of Samos appears but a stones throw away.
The sparkling clear sea beckons the swimmers, the waterskiers, sailors, windsurfers and divers, all catered for along with canoeing, fishing and boat tours. If it's trekking or birdwatching, horse riding or cycling or simply lazing about in a fantastic climate that appeals to you then Guzelcamli offers it all.
You can expect the traditional Turkish greeting of friendliness and openness, so much so that like us you won't want to leave!
For the shopping and bartering maniacs of you Kusadasi is a mere 23km away, or 20 minutes on the Dolmus.

Offers more

Guzelcamli is fast becoming 'the' place to buy in Turkey. A predominantly Turkish resort with a small smattering of foreign ownership. Brits that have found the area all want to keep quiet about it but something this good has to be shared!
You won't get the hassling that you do in other resorts, nor will you find artificially inflated prices.
The village offers an array of bars and restaurants, shops and market. The all night market on the beach front makes shopping in the cool hours a delight.
You won't be crammed on a tiny beach here neither, not with 17 miles of wide sandy beaches and a sea so calm, clear and warm you won't want to get out.
Zeus cave offers a remarkably cooling swim in mineral waters while the National park is home to some of natures wonders.
Reasons to invest

Property prices increasing year on year
Very little in the way of rentals
Strong domestic market
Superb holiday or retirement location
What's so special

Sun for 300 days a year with sunsets to drool over.
Miles and miles of sandy beaches, not to mention some of Turkeys finest beaches tucked away in the National park.
The cleanest, purest air imaginable, recommended by medical practitioners for asthma sufferers.

Hi Annie M and welcome

Guzelcamli isn't too far from Altinkum, it's a pretty straight run through Soke. Graham will probably be better able to help you and I'm sure he'll reply later.
Yes, there are cheap and expensive hotels, not many but enough! There are also a few lovely pensions for a cheap stay. John or I will get you contact details if you want them?

Hi anniem20 and welcome.
Have never done the trip Altinkum to Guzelcamli by dolmus but I believe it (the Soke bus) leaves from the bottom of Ataturk Boulevard (outside the Izmir Stores aka the Duty Free Shop).
You will need to change in Soke for either Guzelcamli or Kusadasi (if it's for Kusadasi, you will need to change again in Kusadasi for Guzelcamli). I have no idea what the cost is but as with all public transport road travel in Turkey, it will not be expensive.
